The Atlas Mountains are famous for their epic high-altitude treks. Along with that, it also offers several short and easy treks that can be completed within 3 days. It is best suitable for less experienced trekkers or those who have limited time on hand.

3-days Atlas Mountains Culture Trek has different routes mostly in IMLIL and Ouirgane Region. For this trek, you do not need any kind of physical training. Anyone who can walk around 4-5 hours per day is able to do this trek.
Trekking in the Atlas Mountains is a unique experience. Even in a short time, these 3 days treks take you into the heart of the wilderness and awe-inspiring views of the Atlas Mountains. Such short treks are perfect for modern-day trekkers on the move.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Marrakesh – Tiziane – Tizi-n’taghrhourte (1995m) – Agounss n´Assoul (1870m)
We will drive to Azzaden Valley from Marrakech which takes around 1.5 hours. From Tiziane, we will continue the HIKE to D’knt Valley via Tizi n’Taghrhourte pass .lunch at Asaka Spring. After some 2 and half hours of relatively easy walking, our afternoon’s hike takes us down along the edges of the forest until we reach the Berber Village homestay of Agounss n´Assoul (1870m) where the hammam will be fired up and ready for your arrival.

Day 2:Agounss n´Assoul(1870m) – Tizi N’tagdalte pass(2600m) – Tizi Oussem Village(1850m)
We set off in the morning for our 3 hours hike up through groves of walnut trees, and fields of corn and barley to greet the many men and women sheep and goat herders. We traverse the Tizi n’Tagdalte pass to descend among the juniper trees until we come to a small spring set amongst the trees where we will stop for our picnic.
Once refreshed, we are off down winding tracks of upper slopes for some 3 hours to come to a small river at the beginning of the valley of Assif n’Ouissadene. From here we enter the village of Tizi Oussem (1850m) spend a night in a Berber village house high in the mountains, and have a chance to meet a local Berber family Experience Moroccan cooking from start to finish, from buying the spices and fresh produce at the weekly markets*, to enjoying the meal that you have prepared while soaking up the lush mountains and village life surrounding you.
Day 3 : Tizi Oussem Village 1850m – Tizi Mzik pass 2479m – Imlil Valley 1740m
We start our last day with a hike to a beautiful waterfall at Azib Tamsoulte and return to cross the Tizi ‘n Mzik pass (2,500m). There we are already in the main Toubkal valley, so walk through it to the busy and colorful village of Imlil (1,900m) one of the off-beaten-path alternative places for departures to Jebel Toubkal. We have lunch before saying goodbye to the accompanying staff and you are driven back to Marrakech.
