Itinerary

Day 1:Marrakech - Tikhfist - Takherkhort Peak - Marrakesh

9.00 am – collection from your accommodation.

During the day –

At 8:00 Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in the morning after your breakfast and then drive for around an hour to reach Tikhfist: the highest village in Ouirgane Valley. You will start to hike gradually uphill through the dense sub-tropical forest from Tikhfist. After 4 hours of ascending, we will reach the top of Takherkhoty. The stunning view of the eastern portion of the HIGH ATLAS range to Mt. TOUBKAL in the east, Valleys as well as the plains of Marrakech, are the highlights of this journey.

You will spend a nice time there enjoying a delicious lunch overlooking the majestic view. After lunch, you will hike downwards for about 2 hours on a different trail to the Azerfsane village. After exploring the Berber village and a cup of tea we drive back to Marrakech.

Total walking time 7 hrs

5.30 pm – return to your accommodation
